We have been in the accounting and bookkeeping business for more then 15 years and have seen the ramifications of many systems. We have acquired knowledge of best practices through experience and study and can certainly recommend ways to improve accounting systems. Some of the things we would look at are -

  • labor hours required to complete tasks

  • efficiency of software being used

  • compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles

  • paper and computerized filing systems

  • the extend to which work can be performed in house
